Tracxn's revenue from operations stayed flat at Rs 21 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 20 crore in Q4 FY24, its financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. For the full fiscal year (FY25), Tracxn’s operating revenue increased 2% to Rs 84.5 crore in FY25 from Rs 83 crore in FY24. Tracxn generated its entire operating revenue from subscription sales, offering access to its data and software. However, the Bengaluru-based firm did not provide a detailed revenue breakdown for the quarter. The company also made Rs 1.5 crore from non-operating sources which took Tracxn’s total revenue to Rs 22.7 crore in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year (FY25), total income stood at Rs 90.36 crore. Employee benefits remained the largest cost center for Tracxn, accounting for 86% of its total expenditure. These expenses increased by 5.6% year-on-year, rising to Rs 19.36 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 17.77 crore in Q4 FY24. Overall, Tracxn's total costs grew by approximately 10%, reaching Rs 22 crore in Q4 FY25. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, total expenses increased to Rs 84 crore. The stagnant revenue and a nearly 10% increase in overall costs caused Tracxn to slip into losses. The company’s loss after tax stood at Rs 8 crore in Q4 FY25 from a profit of Rs 1.42 crore in Q4 FY24. However, the company reported a profit before tax of Rs 73 lakhs. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year (FY25), its losses stood at Rs 9.5 crore. The company recently approved an ESOP grant of over 2 lakh shares, valued at Rs 41.6 lakh. As of the last trading session, Tracxn’s share price was Rs 63, giving the company a market cap of Rs 674 crore ($79 million).

The company’s quick commerce segment also saw remarkable growth, with revenue surging by 115% to Rs 689 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 320 crore in Q4 FY24. The segment's gross order value (GOV) growth was driven by an increase in order frequency and the addition of new dark stores. Scootsy Logistics contributed a major 45% of Swiggy’s overall operating collection. Income from this entity increased by 58% YoY to Rs 2,004 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,265 crore in Q4 FY24. During the last quarter, Swiggy invested Rs 1,000 crore in Scootsy to support expansion and growth. Swiggy’s Dine Out, Genie, Swiggy Mini, and other non-operating income took its total revenue to Rs 4,531 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, Swiggy’s revenue rose 35% to Rs 15,227 crore in FY25 from Rs 11,247 crore in FY24. On the cost side, the procurement of FMCG products for supply chain distribution formed 33% of its overall cost which increased by 52% to Rs 1,854 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, the delivery charges saw 27% growth to Rs 1,161 crore in Q4 FY25. Swiggy spent Rs 695 crore and Rs 978 crore on employee benefits and advertising, respectively. Overall, Swiggy’s total expenses for the quarter increased 53% to Rs 5,609 crore from Rs 3,668 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal-on-fiscal year basis, its total expenses increased to Rs 18,725 crore in the quarter ending March 2025 from Rs 13,947 crore in FY24. The 53% growth in expenditure led losses to increase by 95% to Rs 1,081 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 555 crore in Q4 FY24. The company also made Rs 48 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 1,979 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,685 crore in Q4 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 58% of the overall expenditure which increased 14% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,206 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1055 crore in Q4 FY24. FirstCry employee benefits stood at Rs 229 crore in Q4 FY25 which includes Rs 82 crore as ESOP cost. Marketing, legal, rent, and technology expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure up to Rs 2,060 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,737 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the company’s total expenses rose to Rs 7,992 crore. BrainBees’ loss surged by 74% to Rs 75 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, the firm losses stood at 215 crore in FY25, down from Rs 321 crore in FY24. (We have excluded exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore from the loss calculation.) BrainBees debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 446 and is now trading at 376.5 on May 26, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 19,631 crore.

For the full fiscal year (FY25), Ather Energy’s operating revenue increased 29% to Rs 2,255 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,754 crore in FY24. The company’s cost of materials, driven primarily by battery and component procurement, increased by nearly 16% to Rs 564 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 488 crore in the same period last year. Employee benefit expenses saw a decline of 29% YoY to Rs 109 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to Rs 154 crore in Q4 FY24. Depreciation and amortization costs rose 18% to Rs 45 crore, while other operational costs jumped nearly 47% to Rs 204 crore. Overall, Ather’s total expenditure grew 13% to Rs 922 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 819 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full financial year ending March 2025, total expenses rose to Rs 3,117 crore as against Rs 2,674 crore in FY24. As a result, the company’s net losses reduced by 17% to Rs 234 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 283 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal basis, its net losses came down 23% to Rs 812 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,060 crore in FY24. Ather Energy made its stock market debut on May 6, 2025, listing at Rs 328 per share on the NSE—2.18% above its issue price of Rs 321. However, the stock closed the day at Rs 300. On Monday, it rose 2.8% to trade at Rs 308.7 before market close, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 11,497 crore ($1.34 billion). Income from the sale of electric scooters was the sole source of revenue for Ola Electric while the collection from the sale of batteries contributed only a small portion in the last quarter of the previous fiscal year. For the EV scooter maker, material procurement made up 33% of the total costs at Rs 527 crore in Q4 FY25. Other major expenses included employee benefits, advertising, and technical support, pushing the total quarterly burn to Rs 1,598 crore. For the full fiscal year ending March 2025, total expenses rose to Rs 7,185 crore. A higher decline in sales caused Ola Electric's losses to rise by 106% in Q4 FY25, reaching Rs 862 crore compared to Rs 418 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4 FY24). For FY25, the firm’s losses stood at Rs 2,276 crore in FY25, up from Rs 1,584 crore in FY24. Recently, Ola Electric Mobility has approved a plan to raise up to Rs 1,700 crore through debt instruments. The Bhavish Aggarwal-led company secured the second position in the electric two-wheeler segment in April, with TVS Motor emerging as the market leader. For the first time, Ather Energy has surpassed Ola Electric in quarterly revenue. In Q4 FY25, Ather reported an operating revenue of Rs 676 crore, ahead of Ola Electric’s Rs 611 crore. At the close of today's trading session, Ola Electric's stock was priced at Rs 53.20, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 23,465 crore.

Nazara also earned Rs 18 crore from interest and gains on financial assets during the quarter, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 539 crore. However, the company posted a 40.8% YoY increase in its total income to Rs 1,715 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 1,218 crore in FY24. On the line of scale, Nazara’s total expenses surged by 85.3% to Rs 528 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 285 crore in the same quarter last year. Content and commission costs together stood at Rs 186 crore, while employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 80 crore. Notably, marketing expenses saw a sharp 3.5X jump, reaching Rs 151 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a 95% year-on-year revenue growth in Q4, the company’s profit remained flat at Rs 4 crore in Q4 FY25. For the full fiscal year, its net profit declined to Rs 51 crore in FY25 from Rs 74.7 crore in FY24. Last week, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) also approved the acquisition of a majority stake and control over Nazara Technologies Limited by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP, and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited. Nazara is currently trading at Rs 1,270 (as of 03.41 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 11,127 crore (approximately $1.3 billion).

However, the company did not provide an income breakdown in its quarterly report. According to the press release, MobiKwik's registered user base has grown to 176.5 million with 4.4 million new merchants. The company’s payment of GMV has also surged 2.3X year-on-year to Rs 331 billion. On the cost side, expenditures on the payment gateway were the largest cost center, accounting for 45% of the overall cost, which stood at Rs 147 crore in Q4 FY25. The cost of employee benefits and lending fees was recorded at Rs 43 crore and Rs 41 crore, respectively. Its financial guarantee, legal, advertising, finance, and other overheads took its total expenditure to Rs 324 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 266 crore in Q4 FY24. For instance, the Gurugram-based company posted a net profit of Rs 14 crore for the previous fiscal (FY24). In the end, Mobikwik reported a net loss of Rs 56 crore in Q4FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 60 lakhs in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. During the full fiscal year, its bottom line was negative at Rs 121.5 crore. Mobikwik made its debut on the stock exchange last December 24 with an impressive 59% premium on its issue price on the first day of its listing. The company is currently trading at Rs 273.7 with a total market capitalization of Rs 2,126 crore or approximately $250 million.

The Noida-based company reported a revenue of Rs 1,911 crore and a net loss of Rs 23 crore for the period. According to Paytm’s consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange, its revenue from operations declined by 16% year-on-year from Rs 2,267 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs 1,911 crore in Q4 FY25. Meanwhile, for the full fiscal year, the Noida-based firm’s revenue fell 31% to Rs 6,900 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2025 from Rs 9,977 crore in FY24. Paytm has not disclosed its revenue breakup. The company also added Rs 224 crore from other non-operating sources, bringing its overall revenue to Rs 2,135 crore in Q4 FY25. According to the company, its Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for the quarter stood at Rs 5.1 Lakh crore, while its average monthly transacting users (MTUs) increased to 7.2 crore in the previous quarter. For the fintech firm, its employee benefits remained the largest cost center, accounting for 35% of the overall cost, which decreased by 32% to Rs 748 crore in Q4 FY25. Its payment processing charges reduced by 27% to Rs 52 crore, and marketing expenses increased by 10% to Rs 142 crore in Q4 FY25. Software, communication, legal, cashback, and other overheads took the total expenditure to Rs 2,155 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 2,691 crore in Q4 FY24. Paytm reduced its losses by 96% to Rs 23 crore in Q4 FY25, down from Rs 536 crore in Q4 FY24. This figure excludes a one-time cost of Rs 522 crore, which includes Rs 492 crore in ESOP expenses and Rs 17 crore in transaction costs related to the sale of its movie ticketing business. As of May 6, Paytm’s share price fell over 6% to Rs 816 with the total market capitalization standing at Rs 52,082 crore.
