Home and lifestyle direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand Haus & Kinder has raised $3.3 million in a funding round led by Sauce VC, with participation from angel investors including XYXX founder Yogesh Kabra, Sangeet Agrawal, Navin Parwal, and the Chona Family. The Mumbai-based company plans to use the fresh funds to expand its presence in quick commerce. Co-founded in 2018 by Saket Dhankar and Kanupriya Anand, Haus & Kinder offers home decor and baby products targeting millennial moms with modern, affordable, and high-quality cotton items. The company operates through its website, online marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms. The companyโ€™s products include home textiles like bed sheets, curtains, cushion covers, and blankets, and baby essentials such as swaddles, blankets, and feeding pillows. The brand also features a signature line of ringspun cotton products. โ€œConsumers are upgrading their houses much faster now. We are seeing a shift in consumer behaviour towards global trends in home decor,โ€ said Saket Dhankar, co-founder and CEO of Haus & Kinder. Other notable players in this space include Nestasia, 10Club, Homecentre, IKEA, and Tata-owned Westside.

EDT, a consumer appliances startup founded by Naiyya Saggi and Vyasateja Rao, has raised $1.4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Sauce VC. The round also saw participation from Consumer Collective, Peak XVโ€™s Spark Grant, and a group of founders, operators, and family offices. Angel investors in the round include founders and senior executives from companies such as Caratlane, Noise, Urban Company, Mokobara, Ultrahuman, Servify, Vahdam, Dixon Technologies, Cyient, Reckitt, and others. The brand has also onboarded advisors with experience across hardware, retail, and global consumer brands. The proceeds will be used to build its product pipeline, set up R&D and design processes, and hire talent across engineering, design, and manufacturing. EDT will also work with manufacturing partners in India and overseas. Founded in 2025, EDT is building a portfolio of consumer appliances across home, kitchen, and personal care categories. The startup plans to focus on product design, materials, and technology suited for modern households. Its initial products are expected to go live through preorders and waitlists between January and February 2026. Saggi, who previously founded BabyChakra and was part of the Good Glamm Group, exited her operational role last year. Rao is an industrial designer who earlier ran design studio Analogy before starting EDT. The startup plans to launch first in India and expand to markets such as the GCC and the US over time. EDT is positioning itself as a global consumer appliances brand built out of India, with a focus on everyday use cases.

D2C brand Bonkers Corner raises $10.5 Mn at $48 Mn valuation Omnichannel clothing brand Bonkers Corner raised Rs 95 crore ($10.5 million) in a Series A round led by India SME Investment Fund, with participation from Radhakrishna Ramnarain Pvt Ltd, Namita Thapar, and over 20 other investors. The board of Bad Brains Streetstyle Pvt Ltd, parent of Bonkers Corner, has allotted 3,12,644 Series A CCPS at an issue price of Rs 3,038 apiece to raise the aforementioned sum, according to its filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Private equity firm India SME Investments led the round with Rs 64.5 crore (about $7.15 million), followed by Radhakrishna Ramnarain Pvt Ltd, which invested Rs 17.8 crore. Rajesh Raheja contributed Rs 3 crore. Meanwhile, Namita Thapar, a judge on Shark Tank India, participated with Rs 50 lakh through Thapar Vision LLP, completing her Rs 1.5 crore investment commitment made on the show. The remaining amount was contributed by over 20 other investors, including several angel investors. This appears to be the first major funding round for the D2C brand, and the funds have already been credited to the companyโ€™s bank account. As per Entrackrโ€™s estimates, the company is currently valued at Rs 430 crore (nearly $48 million) on a post-money basis. Founded in 2020 by Shubham Gupta, Bonkers Corner is a streetwear-focused fashion brand that sells apparel for both men and women. Its product range includes oversized graphic T-shirts, gym wear, hoodies, sweatshirts, and co-ord sets. Following the allotment of this tranche, India SME Investments holds a 15% stake in the firm, while Radhakrishna Ramnarain Pvt Ltd owns 4.14%. Namita Thapar holds a minor 0.37%, while founder Sanjay Gupta, along with his wife Reena Gupta, retains 70.62% ownership in the company. For the fiscal year ended March 2025, the Mumbai-based company reported 23% year-on-year growth in operating revenue to Rs 123 crore. It also posted a profit of Rs 4.3 crore during the last fiscal year. Bonkers Corner operates in a competitive D2C fashion market, competing with brands such as Snitch, which raised $40 million last year, Rare Rabbit, which secured $6 million, and MyDesignation, which recently raised Rs 40 crore. Other rivals in the segment include Bewakoof and The Souled Store, among several other direct-to-consumer brands.
