Byju’s to rebrand WhiteHat Jr as Byju's Future School, fully merge operations with itself

Edtech giant Byju's is planning to rebrand its subsidiary, WhiteHat Jr, as "Byju's Future School" and fully integrate its assets into other business verticals. The move aims to reduce costs and address the subsidiary's high expenses, including marketing and employee benefits. Byju's acquired WhiteHat Jr for $300 million in 2020 and has since infused over $100 million into the company. The rebranding coincides with Byju's ongoing efforts to conserve cash and repay its term loan. The company is also considering selling assets and raising fresh equity funding.
