We’ve all experienced it—you notice someone interesting at a café, a park, or a train station, but hesitation holds you back. By the time you decide to approach, they’re gone, and the chance to connect is lost forever. S

Make beautiful girls wear snip tshirts and make them stand on crowded places That way you'll get first onboardings but after that you gotta do something to hold customers
Nice idea
Nice marketing strategy tho!
A problem but where is the solution? Suppose I am in your app, I found someone I found interesting but the place is public so I can't reach. I opened your app , searched that person , the person isn't in your platform so no match, I will uninstall your app and give 1 star review for sure. How would you make it into buiseness? There isn't any other interesting features for the users to spend time on app. If you expand on dating/ chatting, there are already many many free platforms too. They can easily implement this thing. If someone's profile is anonymous then I would never interact with him/her. I would I know if that is the person whom I want to interact.
Hey Vikas, I’ve been thinking about Snip’s core vision and how we can address the challenge of users not finding people who aren’t on the platform. I believe implementing an "invite & notify feature", a "missed connections board", or even "AI-powered smart suggestions" could significantly improve engagement. These additions would keep users hooked and increase organic growth without making Snip feel like just another social app. Let’s discuss how we can refine these ideas further and make Snip even more impactful. Looking forward to your thoughts! Best, Likhith Shetty.
Hey Bipin, I really appreciate your honest feedback! You’ve raised some important points, and I’d love to share our vision for SNIP. What if they’re not on the app? That’s a fair concern. The idea behind SNIP is to encourage real-time connections, so yes, both people need to be on the platform. But we’re working on ways to improve discoverability and increase the chances of successful matches. SNIP isn’t meant to replace existing dating or chatting apps. It’s for those moments when you see someone interesting **right there, in real life** and want a way to connect instantly—without awkwardly searching for them later. Anonymity vs. Identity – We get it, no one wants to interact with a complete stranger without context. That’s why we’re focusing on profile visibility options to ensure people feel comfortable and in control of their connections. Your thoughts are super valuable, and we’re constantly refining SNIP to make it better. Would love to hear any ideas you have on how we can improve!
Same opinion , even if the person is on the snip , there's a chance I'm not the first or only one and they are matched with someone in that place already in and started having conversation, then it gets double awkward for me to approach He has a problem statement but no optimal solution or plan , hope he could figure it out
Make two things clear How it works How it makes money You can also just dm me about this
Plz do check below the comments i already explained how it works
Excited to see, how does it works
As a business I want to show me how you make money out of this
I didn't really get how would it work... Can you please elaborate?
How SNIP works: 1️⃣ Instant "SNIP" Mode If you see someone you want to connect with but hesitate, open SNIP and tap “SNIP.” The app detects nearby users within a small radius (using Bluetooth/GPS). If both users SNIP each other within a short window, they get a match. 2️⃣ Silent & Discreet No awkward exchanges or immediate pressure—just mutual interest. Profiles remain hidden unless a match happens. 3️⃣ Time-Limited Connections Matches expire within 24 hours unless both decide to chat. Encourages real connections instead of endless scrolling. 4️⃣ Privacy-First Design No public profiles—users stay anonymous unless they mutually choose to connect. The app only logs nearby users when they activate the SNIP feature. 5️⃣ Contextual Icebreakers Once matched, the app suggests conversation starters based on location: "You both were at Café Aroma—what’s your go-to coffee order?" "You crossed paths at a bookstore—what’s your favorite genre?" 6️⃣ Smart Recall for a Second Chance Missed the moment? The Missed Encounters feature shows blurred profiles of recent nearby users (with time & location hints). Users can send a one-time reconnect request to avoid losing potential connections forever.
