What is the guarantee that PeerHire won't end up as crowded as Fiverr, Upwork or other platforms 5 yrs down the lane? Also security cant be guaranteed because even with Ai people can get scammed. Blockchain maybe might help.

Great to hear this!!! If everything falls into place just like you said then I think PeerHie would cause a disruption in the currently saturated hiring market and be Global Brand! Please let me know if you want to connect with possible companies or college students, Ill assist you.

Youโ€™re right, no platform can guarantee it wonโ€™t face the same problems as todayโ€™s giants. The real question is how weโ€™re structuring PeerHire so it doesnโ€™t fall into that trap. Fiverr and Upwork became crowded because theyโ€™re open marketplaces with little context anyone can join, which dilutes trust and discovery. PeerHire is built differently: itโ€™s student-first, identity-verified, and reputation is tied to actual work, skill tags, and governance participation. Clients also have the choice to hire students or grads at 6โ€“8% commission, or professionals at 10โ€“12%. That way affordability and transparency are built into the model, and discovery and trust are structural, not just marketing. Everything runs fully on-chain, so payments and agreements are locked in escrow with zero chance of scams. And if disputes happen, theyโ€™re resolved by a decentralized peer jury system not by biased platform admins. Thatโ€™s why PeerHire wonโ€™t end up like the crowded, unfair giants.

I would suggest LinkedIn type integration that would allow recruitment faculty to hunt talent as well. And the monetization would also be easier that way

Yeah, thatโ€™s already on our roadmap. PeerHire will have placement pipelines where recruiters and companies can directly reach out to the best talent. Itโ€™s like a natural extension, students build their verified track record on projects, and recruiters can spot and hire them straight from the platform.

Probably I'm the old school person and got completely off seeing the crypto integration . Problem is genuine but not sure if the solution really works or not. When there's a commission billed to the employer , they would definitely offset the cost from the pay they provided to the freelancer. More importantly, the commission model does breed competition who try the undercutting the % for the initial growth which can bring the margin pressure to your business. Of course, the competition isn't a end of the world issue which can't be solved but the company should be in a very stable position to combat with competitiors .If 5 struggling startups are fighting among themselves for market share , there won't be one winner & 4 losers, there would be 5 losers. Risky model in my opinion but All the best.

Thatโ€™s just a landing page for waitlisting, not our actual product. Weโ€™ll be launching before mid-September. You can already see real reviews in the carousel on that page, or through the Product Hunt button in the footer. The foreigner photos are just placeholders.

All the best Sumit. If your business works well in the favor of freelancers, remember that it can have a huge impact on lives of so many . I'm not talking about the price points and no commissions thing but about the potential such business can have on the employment crisis in a large country like India. Focus more on the benefits of supply side(freelancers) & Give some dignity to the freelancers in our country. Good luck

And , by the way I was looking at your website. Impressive design but few things set me off. The demo video button is not working. Can't see the reviews except that I can see it's a 5 star unanimously. And white people pics is such an old concept. I don't mind if the foreigners gave genuine reviews, but if it's just to woo the new users, I don't think it can work in your favour in long term.
