For years, Indian consumers trusted shiny FMCG ads, only to find hidden sugars , preservatives , and 200+ sneaky names for *"just sugar"* (maltodextrin, caramel). But the game’s changing! 💡 **Digital-savvy shoppers no

Great idea 👍👍... Well done 😊😊
Thanks a lot for your uplifting feedback. 😊🤌
Great idea, hope you launch this soon.
Yep! Will for sure let you know when it's ready mate! ☺️🚀
Initially, I came up with names like sugar lens, sugarshot, Unsugar, finally stumbled upon NoSugar, it sounded robotic to me so I pronounced it the way a foreigner would, so made 'r' silent, finally "NoSuga" was born. Happy that you liked it. 😁🤝
Do u searching for investor?
Not as of now, thanks. 😇🙌
This is a super relevant idea — people want to eat healthier, but food labels are filled with confusing names. Most don’t realize that maltodextrin or dextrose are just fancy names for sugar. A scanner that instantly exposes these hidden ingredients could really hit home. The “rejector” leaderboard and D2C brand recs add a fun, social twist. Biggest challenges? Making sure the AI is accurate and easy to use. Also, the revenue model needs more detail — like how D2C brands benefit, and why users would pay. But overall, it’s a strong, timely concept with real viral potential 🌝👑
Appreciated mate! Will for sure look into these concerns and incorporate that in my product. 😊🤝
Love the idea, hope it really makes a difference
That's the mission, to healthify India one label at a time. 💪😇
Hi Shaurya, It's a big and valid problem and I'm glad you're working on finding a solution for it. That being said, I'm a little confused about how the scanner works. Also, what's the role of AI? If I understand the use case correctly, the user needs to take a snap of the ingredients section and the application will tell the amount of sugar (hidden or otherwise) that the product has? I think FSSAI has already approved a proposal requiring packaged food items to display sugar, fat content in bold and larger fonts. Not sure if companies are following it. But if yes, wouldn't the scanner become obsolete? Honestly, if you find the right usecase and solution for this problem, I believe it would really help a lot of people. Good luck to you buddy👍
I'm happy you took some time off to write this mate! Yes, the scan is done on the ingredients label. So it's like, the user snaps a picture, the platforms converts it into comprehensible character, scans it with the database and present visually(this all is done instantaneously in background). Actually, the problem the platform solves isn't a regulatory issue but a knowledge issue, just sugar has more than 200 names that are used commercially, most people can know one or two but not 200. Also, whether one preservative is bad or decent in effect is a big issue, the product claiming natural and organic isn't easily verified. That's the issue the platform solves. Things like health score, suggestions, and voucher rewards for rejecting shady products are an addition to promote habit building. 😊🙌
Thanks a million buddy, would notify you when it's ready. 🥶🙏
