Idea is quite good , but its really a hard business to scale, until you have a very high demand. First you have to figure out what material is best for making papers. Then you have to collaborate with manufacturers then to have to ace the distribution. Honestly people do not care or show concern about sustainability or saving the environment. This whole concept of sustainable product built by using waste material. But you also have to understand demand and supply. It will be really hard because you need to have a good amount of experience to enter in manufacturing business. Manufacturing businesses is really hard and then you have cack the distribution which is the hardest. And uts super money intensive business. I'm not demotivating I'm just being honest because I have experienced how manufacturing businesses work. But 10/10 for idea i really hope you win and achieve everything you want.

Thank you so much for your honest and detailed feedback, Utkarsh. I really appreciate you sharing your insights from your own experience in manufacturing it means a lot. You're absolutely right that scaling such a business is tough, especially with the high demands of production, distribution, and capital. I'm aware that sustainability doesn't always attract mainstream attention easily, but I believe with the right product-market fit, cost efficiency, and strong awareness, even waste-based products can find their place. I’m still in the early learning and planning phase, and insights like yours are helping me stay grounded while shaping my approach. I’ll definitely keep your advice in mind when tackling the manufacturing and distribution challenges. Thanks again for rating the idea 10/10. That encouragement truly fuels my journey! 🙏

Hey GreenLeaf Team, Love the concept—turning waste like rice straw into paper is smart and eco-friendly. Your mission is clear and inspiring. That said, it feels a bit too polished. Terms like “advanced refining” sound cool, but without real data or examples, it’s hard to trust the impact. A little less marketing, a little more transparency would go a long way. Not being rude or trying to sound smart—just sharing honest feedback from someone who supports sustainability and wants to see real change. Keep going strong!

Thanks for your comment, Niraj! Yes, I know about Siraj and I’ve also seen that Shark Tank India episode. His company focuses on converting agricultural waste like rice and wheat straw into eco-friendly packaging and thermocol alternatives. Our idea is different we’re working on transforming rice straw into high-quality, smooth, writable, and printable paper. It’s a refined product with a completely different use. Our target customers are students (for study materials) and the entire printing paper market. Our aim is to make complete use of agricultural waste and fully eliminate the need for tree-based paper, creating an eco-friendly and sustainable paper industry.
