That's because they're trying to give some visibility to old popular posts. Most new trending posts will still stay visible only for few days.

My genuine request to Users is to tap on like button when you like a post or just to give little boost to that post so that it reaches more people most people read latest feed when they only get bored of repetitive trending page, where they read all

What's the criteria for a trending post? Some people getting 6 like in 10 hours and only 1 reply are trending, while I'm constantly getting same likes and more replies, still not trending. Can you explain @medial?
