Wipro’s New Hybrid Policy: A Sign of What’s Next for Corporate Work Culture? 🏢💻 Wipro has announced a new hybrid work rule effective January 1. Employees are now required to spend at least six hours in the office for three days a week, tracked through punch-in and punch-out data. The total working hours remain at 9.5 per day, meaning the remaining 3.5 hours can be completed remotely. Non-compliance could result in a half-day leave deduction. This shift signals something deeper, the corporate world is moving toward structure after years of flexibility. The initial “work-from-anywhere” era gave rise to new productivity models, but many companies are now rebalancing. This approach could improve collaboration, mentorship, and accountability. However, it also challenges organizations to maintain flexibility and trust while reintroducing structure. The question is: Is this the new normal for hybrid work or just a step back to old patterns? What’s your take, should hybrid work favor structure or flexibility? 👇
