Saying No Is a Skill (Not Attitude) When I started my design career, I thought saying yes to everything is how you grow. More clients. More work. More money. Sounds right, no? But slowly I learned something hard. Some clients pay well but cost you peace, time, and confidence. Daily follow-ups. Last-minute changes. No respect for process. At first, it feels okay. Later, even opening WhatsApp feels heavy. Now I say no to projects that donโt feel right โ even if the money is good. Not because Iโm arrogant. Because I want to do good work without stress. Good decisions donโt always feel exciting today, but they make life easier tomorrow. Have you ever said yes and regretted it later?
