The surprising thing about Gemini 3 is simple: it was trained entirely on Google TPUs. No NVIDIA GPUs at all. If true, this is a major sign that NVIDIA’s dominance is weakening. It also shows how important vertical integration is becoming. Google now controls the chips, the cloud, and the model. That gives them huge efficiency gains. It also lets them tune every layer for maximum performance. Game consoles used this strategy for years. Now Google is doing it with frontier AI. This may be the first top-tier model trained fully on 7th-gen Ironwood TPUs. Earlier TPU-only models were nowhere near this level. The message is clear: state-of-the-art AI doesn’t need GPUs. And TPU usage is rising fast. Safe Superintelligence, Salesforce, and Midjourney already train on them. Anthropic plans up to a million TPUs. The market is shifting. Still, Google continues to buy NVIDIA GPUs for flexibility. Teams need custom ops and mixed workloads. So the future will likely be hybrid. Either way, big changes are coming.

Wait… Google is helping OpenAI now? 👀 Yep, Sundar Pichai just said he's “very excited” about partnering with OpenAI — the same company that built ChatGPT and is literally Google Search’s biggest threat. OpenAI is now using Google Cloud to train an

Nvidia right now: “If we don’t sell you GPUs, we’ll just 💸 fund you to buy them.” Capitalism, but make it circular 😂 #AI #StartupHumor #FounderLife

Computing has come a long way with the introduction of NPUs, GPUs, and CPUs. Let's break it down in simple terms: 🧠 CPUs: They handle general instructions and system management. Think of them as the brain of your computer, evolving with more cores
