Day 25 of My Learning Journey – Building a Discord Bot with Node.js Today marks Day 25 of my coding journey, and I took a big step forward—I built my very first Discord bot using Node.js. It was an exciting experience to see the bot come alive inside a server and actually respond in real time. Along the way, I learned: How to set up a Node.js project for Discord bot development Using the discord.js library to handle commands and events The importance of keeping environment variables secure (like the bot token) Building something that interacts with people directly on a platform like Discord gave me a new perspective on how powerful APIs can be. What’s Next? The next milestone for me is to integrate ChatGPT into this bot, making it capable of holding natural and intelligent conversations with server members. In discord server there is a option for muting somebody for 10 min to 12 hours , that's much needed feature for punishing users on this plateform without banning them permanently.
