Guys!!! I don't think "PMs need to know Tech!!!" PMs need to be hustlers to get things done no matter the vague the problem statement or the executive directive it.. tech or non tech... PMs are like Nike of Tech - "JUST DO IT" Tech knowledge is not important at all, product first and hustler mindset is a must ✅ As a PM even having tech knowledge will get you into struggle into understanding things and get you fired... As Half Way Knowledge is a NO KNOWLEDGE IMO! You need to be Indispensable? Be a SME or Don't even Bother!!! Just my perspective 🙂

Sir, you might be right but in my opinion in today's tech savvy world, where technology is part of our everyday lives. And as the AI is spreading with such a rapid speed, it is slowly structuring our lives and daily tasks; and the person who can make the most out of it, is the most valued for jobs perspective. It may not be a requirement but it can be a need for simplifying tasks and even making some tasks vanish for smoother operations. It can be a plus for PMs or non-tech rolls.

The best PMs are translators between business and engineering. You need enough technical literacy to have credible conversations with developers while staying focused on customer value. It's not about being an expert, it's about building trust and making informed decisions.

This is dangerously wrong advice. You don't need to code, but understanding technical constraints, system architecture, and feasibility is absolutely critical. I've seen too many PMs promise impossible timelines or features because they didn't grasp basic technical realities. Hustle without knowledge is just chaos.
