We threw a matcha-fueled pickleball rave in Bangalore. Yes, that’s a real sentence. ✅ Why? Because the best way to understand what people actually vibe with is to hang with them IRL.  So we set up a Toastd discovery pitstop. Let folks try dope D2C brands. This wasn’t a marketing gimmick. This was user research disguised as a party. And it worked. What we learned: – 80% of people discovered a brand they’d never seen online – Good design stops people. Good stories convert them – Everyone's an athlete after 2 shots of ceremonial-grade matcha – Community beats coupons. Every. Single. Time. This is what discovery commerce looks like when it leaves the screen. If you’re building for Gen Z, get out of your office. Get on the court. 🏟️ And maybe, serve matcha? 🍵 And now we’re wondering... Which city should we pop up in next?

Building a peer discovery app for Gen Z where you can find people you can truly connect and vibe with! Shared experiences are core to the discovery process. Guess what problem are we addressing here? Need an outsider's perspective.

Pickleball isn’t just another racquet sport. It’s becoming a movement. I was at the Monsoon Pickleball Championship 3.0 and the energy was unreal. Players flew in from across the globe, and the level of talent was staggering. While I’ve always been

A year ago, I picked up a paddle and played a casual game of Pickleball to do so. Honestly, I fell in love. I saw something I hadn’t seen in a while - Strangers becoming friends, founders laughing with homemakers, a Gen-Z engineer high-fiving a ret

Is it a good idea to start something around ecommerce when other ecommerce companies like flip kart, amazon myntra etc are not profitable... Will it get any funding if we start something now like a very unique discovery based ecommerce app.
