Power users of quora, what went wrong with the site?

I wrote on Quora for around 4 years.. initially they had good people to write the answers like people with PHD, real doctors and what not. Later on it was overcrowded by people who use to copy paste the things from wikipedia etc. but the major downfall came when they introduced quora+.. most users didn't want to pay for the content they can find on google..its like 5% good content vs 95% copied one. algorithm was one issue too where only popular creators (with good following) irrespective of the quality of content comes in the feed and new content creators were not getting space.. this leads to new creators part ways from quora.
