Make a WhatsApp channel or similar in your city/locality and partner with hyperlocal delivery service providers. Your role in the pilot phase is simple—take the customer’s order, then assign it to your delivery partner, who will collect the medicines from a pharmacy and deliver to the provided address. In the testing phase, set a slightly longer delivery window than 30 minutes so you don’t lose customer trust if something gets delayed. Your revenue can come from multiple sources: a small commission from the pharmacy, plus a delivery charge from the customer to cover costs. This pilot run will teach you a lot about real-world operations, order frequency, delivery times, and customer needs. Once you have tested and refined the model, you can apply for Theil Fellowship, Y Combinator, Startup India schemes, and other funding programs. Running a proper pilot first shows potential investors that you didn’t just sit idle—you took initiative, tested your idea, and have real data. If you face any specific challenges during this phase, share them so I can help figure out what’s blocking you.
