How Indian Stock Brokers Turn Your Data Into Profits When we open a trading account we give a lot of our personal info name, phone number, email, income details and even bank account info we usually think it’s only for account setup or KYC but in many cases that is not the full story. Some stock brokers do not just stop at helping you invest they also use your data to make money in the background ever noticed how after signing up on a platform you suddenly get random calls about loans, credit cards, or trading tips? That’s often because your data is being shared or sold. Brokers can also keep track of your trading habits like how much money you invest how often you trade and which stocks you look at based on that they might push certain services, plans or even send “advice” that nudges you to trade more because every trade earns them some kind of fee. Some of them also work with partner firms and pass on your activity for marketing you won’t see it but behind the scenes your profile becomes part of a bigger money game. Most of us skip reading the terms and just tap “agree” And that’s where they get the freedom to do more than just open your account. In short your data has value and while you are trading for profit some brokers are quietly doing the same with your information.
