Many startups are incorporating AI into customer support systems, replacing traditional query handling with AI chatbots and virtual assistants. There is a noticeable trend of AI being used in backend tasks like fraud detection, demand forecasting, and churn prediction. Startups are also leveraging AI for advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making, helping optimize product and service offerings. Founders cited increased efficiency, cost reduction, and better decision-making as key reasons for adopting AI. Over 50% of surveyed startups reported that AI has already delivered measurable improvements in operational performance. Indian startups are now developing AI-driven products for export, contributing to the global SaaS and enterprise tech ecosystem. The report suggests that India's AI startup ecosystem is growing rapidly due to improved access to cloud infrastructure, open-source models, and developer talent.
