10-Day Startup Series 🔥 24th June 2025 🧵 Post 9️⃣ : MVP & Validation – Build Smart, Not Big 🎯 90% of startups fail, not because they are bad but because they focus on quantity over Quality. They try to enter every trending field rather than working on one their own. MVP is like, build just basic version where your users can understand what you are building and to check if your users are gonna love it or no. 🔍 What is an MVP? MVP = Minimum Viable Product It’s the basic and first version of your product that solves the core problem for your user. ✅ Enough to use ✅ Enough to get feedback ✅ Cheap or free ✅ Can be built fast Not the “final version.” Just the “basic test version.” ⚒️ MVP should be first for whatever you build. Why ? Here's the answer When you build MVP you will learn what users really need and what you lack in that space. You can save money, time, and energy of yourself and your workforce in future. You will not waste all this in building the features which your users never wanted. ✅ Easy to build ✅ Saves money ✅ Saves time ✅ Used to validate 🧪 What is Validation ? Validation is something kind of proof where you can know that people want to use your product and there are many kinds of validation too like : ☄️ Will user's pay to use your product ? ☄️ Will people sign up ? Will they join waitlist ? ☄️ Will they share your product ? ☄️ Will they give you feedback about what needs to be improved. ☄️ Are your competitors trying to copy ( 🤣 one of best validation you can get ) ☄️ Are people trying to hack your MVP to gain more access ? ( No more better validation than this 🤣 but don't be Foodpanda ) 🌀If your MVP is validated then your product is market fit in foundation level. The sole purpose of MVP is to learn and improve ⚒️Build -> Launch 🚀 -> Learn 🧪 -> Iterate 🔁 There's something you learn everyday, so launch and learn. 🧠 How to Build Your MVP (Even Without Coding) 1️⃣ Identify the Core Problem ✍️ What problem am I solving, and for whom? 2️⃣ Design the Simplest & Basic Solution ✅ One use-case ✅ Focus on core problem, don't do extras ✅ Make it Useful not attractive ( if it's useful people will find it attractive ) 3️⃣ Build It Using These MVP Tools: No-Code Platforms: Webflow, Bubble, Glide, Softr, Typedream and many more. Forms + Sheets MVPs: Typeform + Google sheets or whichever you know. Prototypes: Figma / Canva interactive demos / Basic landing page. Manual MVPs: WhatsApp or Google Forms with a human backend, ( Like Dunzo did in there first stage ) 4️⃣ Launch + Collect Feedback ✅ Send to focused users, and communities. ✅ Ask for a honest feedback, no sugar coating. ✅ Track users usage manually or using analytics tool. ✅ Ask what users expect more. 5️⃣ Iterate & Decide: ✅ Are people using it ? ✅ Are people ready to sign-up ✅ Are they asking to add more features ? ✅ Do you think you can scale your product now ? ✅ Will they share it ? If YES → build the best version and launch and grow ( Now time to make it attractive, useful all in one ) If NO → pivot or go back to problem stage create prototype again launch again take feedback again and repeat until you get Yes. 💡 Real MVP Examples: Airbnb MVP: They first created a simple website with a landing page and few of their own apartment listed to see if people would book or no. Voluntarily without you involving or offering something ❌ If not — stay in MVP & validation loop until you find all these checklist completed.
