I tried kruti ai and thought why don't they allow individuals to make custom plugins and extensions just like for browers. Could be so damn useful and same thing was expected from gpts in chatgpt , but tbh there's no good gpt in chatgpt which makes it 10x useful , why? Because there’s no real plugin infrastructure. You can tweak personality, upload files, or add some instructions—but you can’t extend functionality. No APIs, no custom UIs, no ability to trigger real world actions or connect deeply with tools. It’s constrained creativity. If we want AI to be more than a chat box, we need to treat it like a platform—not just a product. Let users build on top of it. Let them remix, hack, and extend it. That’s how browsers became ecosystems. That’s how AI will, too.
