The value of a queue lies in discipline, especially when it comes to visiting a temple. You're not just completing a task—you are there for a spiritual experience. Comparing standing in line for a passport with standing in line to see the deity is not the same. A passport is a government service, and efficiency can sometimes eliminate the need for a queue—much of it can even be done online. But meeting God is not about efficiency; it’s a personal, in-person act of devotion. You can't truly replace that with a digital alternative. If you want to avoid queues entirely, you might as well watch a video of the deity on YouTube—but that’s not the same as being present in the temple.
