Web browsers and search engines are very different things. You can't create a medial account on ChatGPT but in chrome you can. ( it's just one of the differences ) at this stage comparing those two is senseless tbh

Actually you're correct but not entirely. See a browser offers way more stuff than just browsing websites for sure, for eg storing our history, adding extensions, storing passwords and then finally letting us to browse websites, etc etc. But apart from that, even it's pretty useless. You only open a browser to open google and then browse other websites. With Chatgpt, now you can almost do the same. Just open Chatgpt, and you can get all your answers, find websites, and what not. Also because of that OpenAi agents, Chatgpt can itself buy and explore stuff for you too. Also Chatgpt shows that product recommendation, stock prices and other stuff right in it too. So its actually kinda jus replacing the need of Google (not entirely, but atleast a bit). Still the role of browser remains the same.. So ig Mr Z did a wrong comparison tbh, still it kinda makes sense imo.
