Hey I am on Medial • 4m

Is it really safe to share your startup ideas online for validation? Most of the time, I notice this pattern: Students or aspiring entrepreneurs often pitch their startup ideas to seniors or on platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, or forums like #Medial to seek clarity, validation, and feedback. But then there are people with ready resources, funds, and setups who just copy those ideas and execute them faster. It raises a real concern: Are we unknowingly giving away our ideas to those in a better position to implement them? So here's the question— Is it truly okay to share your business ideas publicly for validation? Or is it a risky move in today's fast-paced world? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

How many of you hesitate to share your ideas in public? Worried someone might steal it, or run faster than you? We're building something around this mindset too. Your vote will help us shaping it.

I heard someone say, “Don’t let your ideas stay in your head, share them or build them.”
