EV bikes are marketed as low-maintenance, but are they really? People say servicing costs are minimal, yet somehow, you still end up spending ₹1,000 to ₹2,000. And then comes the big one, battery replacement after four to five years, which can cost a huge amount. Most customers buy EV bikes on EMI, so by the time the loan is over, they might have to spend a lump sum on a new battery. That could be a major challenge unless battery prices drop further. Maybe in a few years, they will be much more affordable? What do you think? Are people considering these long-term costs when switching to EVs or just focusing on fuel savings? 🚲⚡
