RTI Expose: âš455 Crore Missing from Beti Bachao Beti Padhao! An RTI has revealed a shocking âš455 crore gap in the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme. While the government claimed to have spent âš952.4 crore over 11 years, RTI data shows only âš496.7 crore was actually utilized. Where did the rest vanish? Even worse, over 56% of the funds were spent on advertising instead of real change. A scheme meant to empower daughters is now raising serious financial questions. Is this just mismanagement or something bigger? When citizens have to expose corruption instead of the media, it speaks volumes about the state of affairs.
