I think there's definitely space for a good smart collar, BUT... and this is a big but - it needs to be priced right and actually solve real problems. My experience with Fi has been mixed. Yes, the battery life is amazing, but the app is super buggy and the GPS goes crazy sometimes. Plus, getting it serviced in India is a nightmare. What I'd love to see is something designed specifically for Indian conditions. Like, our streets are different, our weather is harsh, and our dogs face different challenges. Give me features like temperature alerts during summer, waterproofing that actually works in monsoon, and maybe integrate it with local vet services for emergencies. And please, PLEASE make sure the collar is comfortable - my indie dog hates stiff collars, and most imported ones aren't designed for their neck size.
