The Zomato game is totally different. Don't give too much discounts if you are building a solid brand, people subconsciously perceive it as low quality. Check the coupons that are flooded in G-Pay. None gonna use that. In the long run its about the quality and good marketing that wins the game and not some random discounts. 🙌

It will surely catch their eyes but purchase will depend more on their budget , I think they would go for the line if they think that it would fit their budget and would accept a little higher then their expected expense.

I understand where you're getting this idea from but Zomato is a different use case, people dont care, any discount is good discount compared to tasty food when someone's craving something or when someone is hungry. SO you ask yourself, if your product undeniable? If so then write whatever you want, they will buy

People understand maths yaar. They are not that stupid so if its 40% off just say 40 percent and if its either of 1rs-400rs off then state that clearly.
