WIth existing system also there are chances of having awkward people around you, as the algorithm randomly allots seats based on availability. While booking tickets, there will be two options available- 1. Allow someone find seat beside you. (a checkbox) Thus, people looking for companions will have access to your information. Otherwise NOT. 2. Find your travel companion based on criteria. (a form) So, there are less chances of having awkward companion because the companion itself has opted to be with someone who wants to connect.
