💰 The dollar's share in international transactions has hit a 12-year high at 49.1% 🌍💵. But there’s a catch. 💶 While the dollar gained 5% over two years, the euro plummeted by 18%, from 39% to 21%. Essentially, the U.S. is pulling the rug out from under its European allies, redistributing the balance to maintain its dominance. However, the shift is uneven—13% of the euro's share has vanished. 📈 Some of it went to the yuan, which rose from 2% to 5%, but most of the drop went to payments in national currencies. There’s no global de-dollarization happening—but only because the euro was sacrificed first. The pace of de-euroization is accelerating rapidly. 📉🇪🇺
