Hey guys I want an opinion on my startup. My startup aims to collaborate with hotels, resorts, restaurants, clubs etc to open poker areas without stakes for now but we have a legal firm who is doing legal research for stakes as well. Could you please validate. Think of it as Smaaash but for cards.

look brother, this may look like a good idea. but looking at the current mood of government. you can't be 100% sure that the next time government will not come up with new directives/rules and overnight you have to shut down your company. in addition to that, for general public it's still somewhat a sin. people may want, bit can't openly. that is why online is the best way to go, for now.

love poker, but I feel like this idea only appeals to a niche market. How many people are really going to visit these places just to play poker without stakes? You’ll need a strong business model to sustain it

Poker rooms without stakes would attract a lot of casual players who are just looking for fun. Plus, if you get the legal clearance for stakes down the line, that could open up even bigger opportunities. This could be huge in places where poker is already popular

Many people enjoy poker for the social and strategic aspects, even without stakes, would be a great way to meet new people and break the ice. Rest validation I think can only happen once you enter the market with it
