How did I get my first 1000 users on my platform? My last post starting trending on Medial because I shared something valuable. Today I will tell you how I got my first 1000 users by spending Rs. 0 on marketing. I have an edtech product and needed college students. So here was my cheat-sheet: STEP 1: I went to my alumni (VIT University) and connected with clubs and chapters. STEP 2: We conducted a free workshop and got an initial buzz. Students appreciated VIT alumni helping them and registered for paid course. STEP 3: They told their friends and word of mouth spread quickly. STEP 4: The master-stroke - We tied up with the college chapter to ensure more students on a recurring basis! Today, we have about 1000 registrations every month coming on its own! Want more?
