They have potential, it is a big market, but they are going down the same path as byjus Market share wont last when consumers arent happy, and dark UI practices by Zepto are driving customers away. Mostly concerned with Zepto pass, but also one too many ads, ux patterns, button placements, etc.

Zepto lies in comfort product not a need . It's not that people don't wanna pay premium for that but most people just can't But as India's economy and income percapita increases the userbase for zepto would rise but it's a timetaking process like look at Amazon it's kind of same thing but till zepto makes it anything can't be surely said
