Has anyone thought of an app where you can track local govt buses, their live routes especially when you are new to a city and want to use public transport

I've read on news about 6 - 7 years back This happened in Karnataka. Maybe he's not Local LOL 😂 One person made an app to track live buses and show them to users. The government then called him and he went to talk to them. Usually people get rewarded for this but here they enquired how he's doing that and after knowing they just shut the data source leaving him dry. He shut the app end of the story.

You have to protect your startup by taking the necessary permissions. Of course, the motive is good here, but you know how politicians are. And if you look back 6 or 7 years, it means the person who started this app ended up with no support. Today, failed entrepreneurs get more sympathy, and due to social media, it has become very easy to push your concerns to the public.

Note that the app already had more than 50k users. I don't remember the exact number. Maybe they are also not locals haha
