This is my first Medial. However very important topic to discuss about the shutting down of Koo app. Spill the beans Insight :- Koo has been significantly grown app in India and well supported by Indian audience especially top Celebrities, Political leaders and other Influencers inspite it is the same period when twitter has been taken over by the worlds powerful billionaire Elon Musk and has been transitioned from Twitter to X in a very well mannered way the growth of X has been proven thus the question is why Koo failed in India to worldwide whether is it funding, lack of founder's understanding about the growth of the product, poor engaging user interface or lack of Indias understanding about the product. It's very important that India has to get one of the strongest social media app why because of Influence by social media is acting like controlling and believeable tool to the audiences across worldwide.

Koo failed for number of reasons Lack of funding to compete with a global giant like X is one of the primary reasons. Earnings on an Indian platform promoting Indian companies isn’t high, companies don’t spend on ads in India if it is related to the internet promotions. Sectors like FMCG will be promoting their products/companies for a larger audience which is likely on TV. Influencers active on social media here in India are getting 1/10th of what the US/EU influencers are making. Even if you compare the payouts of users active on X they too vary from region to region. Koo also failed in the marketing side, apart of some random controversies by some govt officials during the so called shouts of banning X there was almost no marketing from them.
