A very overhyped and pointless LLM By THE Tech Mahindra - India's AI LLM Indus 📉 Firstly understand few things: Large Language Model, is a type of artificial intelligence model designed to understand, process, and generate human-like text, they are the base in which AI models are trained to generate Texts. Parameters in LLMs are the numerical values that define the model's behavior and knowledge. So this Indus LLM has 40Million parameters, for general public it might seem very huge but heres the truth. It's nothing Krutrim - 7Billion GPT-3 - 175 Billion GPT-4o - 1.76 TRILLION Now think how useless and pointless this LLM is. But why is it made - Just go sell it's GPU and API services to other like how krutrim is doing. It's trained on 37 local Indian languages that's why although it's not so unique. And people are getting Patriotic and proud of this shit, They are proving Sam Altman's statement Right. Fact: To enter in this field it requires minimum $200 Million in bank.
