Go with the flow if you are newbie or if you are experienced then generate trust in your team with your vision, mission, your belief.
Regular offsites and vacations or at least frequent bonuses
I don't like offsites after the abmisable torture my last organisation put me through of locking us up in a room from 10 to 8 pm preventing us from enjoying good breakfast and making us feel bored tired and sick.. Keep it flexible the business has started. Understand the market and employees. A few office meals and a gaming session is a good idea. Hire the right staff and yes pay well as grow reward the staff
1. Always be positive with your employees even if they messup. 2. Always remember, teams will learn from your attitude, on how you are talking, on how you are treating people, on how you are handling things. Your team will be what you are. 3. Develop a culture of taking responsibility rather gauging them for time they spend in office or time they spend on tasks. 4. Celebrate small achievements with the team. A small lunch, a small snack, even a small tea party will go a long way when you are celebrating your achievements and bring happiness. 5. When the team is small include them in the decision making process, this will feel them inclusive and they will start taking responsibilities.
Regular hackathons and brainstorming sessions. Keep that creative energy high and wild ideas flowing.
