I would say if you exhaust yourself with those distractions you won't have much energy left to pay full attention to the main task.
Better try to ignore them. Keep you mind still. And If you can't, you can do nothing about it.

How do you deal with distractions? Do you just ignore them? Cut those distractions out? Or do you fully exhaust yourself in those distractions so you can focus on the main task with 100% attention?
