Guys! PLEASE HELP ME. yesterday I got a paid internship opportunity 🥲, I went through a rigorous interview to get it , and the founder is really sweet and innocent. He was all acceptable and stuff and he was really really excited to work with me , but today morning I got 10x times better work opportunity. HOW DO I SAY NO to the first client now??? He said he has stopped looking for intern for that role and I don't feel nice ghosting him. WHAT DO I DO??

It's really simple... Ask the cofounder asking what should you go for. He/she will be happy that you considered them as mentor and see what was their answer. That way you'll also find out about what kind of person they really are.
Do what's best for you! There's nothing wrong in losing people , Its just a part of the journey Just don't overthink and do what your hearts says 🙏🏻😀
Don't go for the present think about the future and tell the founder your worth if he identities your worth and gives you a better offer ......
Yet this is a tuff thing to do, i suggest you to refer someone for that role who could be a better fit to them . Look dud like there is no business without profit same way if you are no use to their company will they give u the opportunity hell nah. It's just a part of business & hiring process, Learn to say no .

I think you should just be honest to him, because there's nothing wrong in wanting the best for yourself, and don't ghost him, just explain whatever you feel! But , be sure about the other opportunity.

Don't Ghost him. Explain your situation honestly to him, from what you have told he seems good person. He will understand your problem and who knows he might match the offer if he can. If not just be polite and so your gratitude.

If you are getting a much better opportunity then there is nothing bad in it If you tell him that I can't do this for xyz reason but make sure that the other client is sure about your work otherwise it would cost you only.
Be polite and tell about the situation. He should understand the difference in incentive.
