They can use our data against us. For example: They can figure which political party ideology you prefer and try to manipulate you. Which would be dangerous for democracy to function

I understand the political aspect.. But i think the algorithm itself is designed to polarise u to attract u more.. Say u r a liberal with slight inclination towards leftist ideology. The algorithm is designed to test and push u to either side to make u stay on the app more.
