I have a plan actually. Men don't wanted to be cluttered by 1000 of cosmetic items. If you want to build one just do one thing. 1. Don't start with more than 5 items trust me. Men don't like scrolling and searching for which one they want. 2. Just do one facewash, sunscreen, moisturizer and any 2 other. 3. Don't specialized them keep them simple, just make best products. Don't give false hope just tell them this are best for men. 4. Make it as much easy as possible to use the product design. Men don't have as much time as women to do this. That's it bruh if you do this and have a basic ad trust me you can do this. Men wanted to look good and feel good. But this cluttered and unorganized market makes them boring and useless. Keep it simple and as easy as possible. Men will glow as hell.

Definitely bro, there are very less ones who are actually building a community and making aware male beauty products. I even thought about starting up a brand called CleanManCo. Exactly for this purpose. The plan was to focus on just one soap and making it a household product. And then so on.

Hi I was recently thinking about this. I think most of the men in India is not interested in skin care specially in tier 2 and 3 cities but in tier 1 cities there is a market for men's skin care just like beardo succeeded. Like in South Korea and other foreign countries men do want skin care. But in case of India men skin care is very underrated. But as I can think there is definitely potential for men's skin care because no one has cracked it correctly. If you are interested in talking more about this let's connect.

There is a huge gap for sure. Brands are coming tho.

First skincare is Doesnt depend oN gender According to dermatologists Ofcourse we can position ourselves as a male centric brand find couple of research papers to sell that point.. And indian men skin care TAM is growing.. and is growing well….. Its a game of positioning.. i dont think u r into actual product research.. u r planning to just source it from manufactur and sell it.. Now this is completely game of brand building…

The men's beuty market of India is under served. There aren't any new or innovative brands in the market. Indian men are not beauty conscious, rather they believe it's feminine to do skin care and stuff like that. Even if you could develop a good brand the targeted audience would be the GenZ and the Gen apha's who are from the tier 1 cities.

The question is as a man u and me are we interested in skin care products do we care about our skin

( I feel Indian cosmetic cum skin market is way too cluttered. I personally haven't seen men in my family or around me, who gets interested in skin care or cosmetic products even though sometimes it's their requirements. And in chances you think of starting something like that, make your Target consumer women instead of men, they can be proved helpful in raising awareness and also be proved as the reasons for which men will use those products. I am telling on the basis that my brothers sometimes uses sunscreen and all because I use it and if I say they do accept the benefits sometimes. I really do assume this.

This market is highly under served, there are hardly 2-3 brands that I remember in mens skincare. Even those sell similar products. If you can Crack the quality and pricing of these products it has a huge upside as men don't tend to spend much on their own skincare, if you price it for masses it has huge upside💯

How about Beardo and Ustura? Were they not releasing cosmetic products for men?

The most difficult yet the most rewarding aspect for these products would be how to make it a HABIT. If you crack this, with a Value for money product, it can be a highly successful business.

There are products but it all comes down to what new you can bring. Go into the market, study thise products and maybe bring in something which those products are not able to. There are lots of female brands, but still someone new pops up. Male cosmetic is toh still highly underserved.

There are many out there and running ads so I think your cac will go up as it’s a very competitive space.
