I personally recommend getting a good co founder witg similar thoughts coz getting co founder makes business better itself as there will be 2 perspectives and 2 main people to take decisions so probability of making wrong decision decreases also workload also decreases making productivity high. It's my opinion your might be different

Is the reason for not getting a co-founder not finding a good person or your greed for equity?

It help you to know how to convice people on your idea . And getting cofounder onboard would be your 1st step. Also you go solo with your idea difference would be of time only VC's only concern about the traction and users if all are in your favour nothing would matter

You can always add a cofounder later when you have some thing running for you. It doesn't have to be immediate.

Join some residency program with your idea and there you can actually find good/skilled co-founders.

I can relate. Finding talented and good co-founders is super hard.

Nothing can be built alone. Maybe small tools to generate revenue can be but definitely not a full fledged startup.

Yes. Get one or two co-founders with complimentary skills. Building a startup alone is almost impossible.
