Because it was easy. If you see the sort of Math that gets asked in CAT exam, you will realise it is of the level that gets taught in class 8th to 10th. Now whether I had enough cred to teach MBA aspirants or not - I didn't really think that way. I looked at it as an easy way to make money. I could make more money in other jobs but those would require hard work. I optimized for being lazy. CAT math is really really easy. At least to me.
