US-based consulting and IT services firm Xoriant has acquired Bengaluru-based product engineering firm MapleLabs. The acquisition aims to enhance Xoriant's capabilities in platform engineering, product development, and cloud native applications. MapleLabs brings expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The financial details of the deal were undisclosed. Xoriant, backed by private equity firm ChrysCapital, aims to strengthen its position in the digital engineering space and provide innovative solutions to its global clients. This is Xoriant's second acquisition following the acquisition of Bengaluru-based consulting firm Thoucentric in 2023.

California-based software engineering company Xoriant, backed by ChrysCapital, has acquired Bangalore-based technology solutions provider MapleLabs. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Xoriant aims to strengthen its platform engineering capabilities and expand its position in maintaining complex cloud-native applications. The acquisition will also give Xoriant access to MapleLabs' observability platform SnappyFlow and cloud/datacenter sizing tools. MapleLabs' team of over 300 consultants brings expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure, cloud-native engineering, site reliability engineering, and observability. This acquisition follows Xoriant's previous acquisition of Thoucentric last year.

Icertis acquires AI startup Dioptra Contract management platform Icertis has acquired contract AI startup Dioptra for an undisclosed amount. With this, Icertis plans to strengthen its product roadmap and expand its AI-led contract lifecycle management (CLM) capabilities. The company said the acquisition also supports its long-term plan to build AI-first workflows across the contracting process. Icertis has been developing its AI stack under its Vera platform. With Dioptra, the company will add tools for automated legal playbook creation, AI-led contract review, and redlining workflows. Icertis said these capabilities will help legal and procurement teams accelerate negotiation and pre-signature processes. Dioptra develops contract review tools that generate automated redlines, identify compliance gaps, and streamline review processes. The company was part of Y Combinator and has previously worked with enterprise customers on negotiation workflows. Dioptra’s founders will join Icertis across product and engineering roles. According to startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Icertis has raised $522 million to date and it’s in the process of raising another $50 million. Icertis became a unicorn in July 2019 after raising $119 million in its Series E round led by Premji Invest. It was last valued at around $5 billion. In India, the company is headquartered in Pune. Dioptra’s tools will be integrated into Icertis’ platform, supporting automated risk review, redlining, and contract drafting through Microsoft Word and internal enterprise systems.
