What do many better-managed companies have? Lots of climate-related jobs

Real estate management firm Jones Lang LaSalle has seen a significant increase in the number of employees working on climate change-related issues, with around 900 people now focused on these concerns. The company has also invested millions of dollars in training the rest of its 100,000-strong workforce on sustainability. According to research by the Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University, businesses that are prioritizing climate jobs tend to be better managed across customer satisfaction, innovation, social responsibility, employee engagement, development, and financial strength. The trend is reflected in a growing demand for jobs related to climate response and extreme weather.
