All products claim to be packaged in 100% landfill and ocean-reclaimed plastic to create a greener planet for children. Tuco targets the unique personal care needs of kids aged 4-12, a demographic with growing needs at every stage. Tuco Intelligent skin products are available on the website and marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and Firstcry. Basil Health raises $1.5 Mn in pre-Series A round Beverage retail brand Basil Health has raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round from Whiteboard Capital, Brigade REAP, and the leading consumer Barbershop Fund, along with participation from Deep Bajaj, Siddharth Kothari, and others. The fresh funds will be utilized to expand across cities, strengthen the supply chain, and invest in brand building and team growth, Basil Health said in a press release. Co-founded in 2023 by Harshita Kejriwal, Akshay Chaudhari, and Karan Dwivedi, Basil Health is a clean and fresh beverage retail brand building an organized national network through compact kiosks and proprietary automated beverage machines. According to the Delhi-based startup, it has more than 70 live touchpoints and in-house IoT-enabled technology focused on creating standardized, café-quality fresh beverages at scale. It aims to lead the next wave of organized fresh beverage retail in India by combining strong brand recall with dense distribution and automation-led infrastructure. The startup’s IoT-enabled systems blend fresh ingredients directly in the cup, delivering café-quality beverages with real-time monitoring and operational control. The technology enables standardization, better margins, and distribution beyond traditional retail storefronts. It plans to scale to 1,000 touchpoints over the next three years through a mix of kiosks and automated machines. Basil currently operates over 70 kiosks and automated machines across three geographies — Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Chandigarh. Its retail model combines compact 50 sq. ft. kiosks with 8 sq. ft. plug-and-play automated beverage machines that can be deployed inside offices, hospitals, universities, and malls.

The proceeds will be used to scale the company’s efforts in offline store expansion, new category launches, brand building, and hiring. Founded in 2019 by Aditi Murarka Agrawal and Anurag Agrawal, Nestasia offers a curated selection of home decor and lifestyle products across six key categories. Nestasia plans to expand its product range within kitchenware, drinkware, cookware, and appliances and introduce new themed categories such as Nest Baby & Kids (home products for children), and more. Over the past year, Nestasia claims to have expanded its offline presence across six cities, with seven exclusive brand outlets. Snippets SkinInspired raises $2.9 Mn led by Spring Marketing Capital New Delhi-based dermaceutical skincare brand SkinInspired has raised $2.9 million (Rs 24 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Spring Marketing Capital. The round also saw participation from Lotus Herbals’ Beauty Innovation Fund and Arihant Patni of Patni Financial Advisors. Existing investor Unilever Ventures participated as well. Earlier in July 2024, it raised Rs 12.25 crore (approximately $1.5 million) in its seed round led by Unilever Ventures and others. The proceeds will be used to scale research and product innovation, invest in brand building, and expand the team. SkinInspired also plans to widen distribution as it scales in India’s dermaceutical skincare market. Founded in 2022 by FMCG veteran Piyush Jain and dermatologist Dr. Prashant Agrawal, SkinInspired focuses on efficacy-led, clinically tested skincare products developed in collaboration with dermatologists. The company works with over 200 dermatologists and reports strong repeat usage across its portfolio. Agrawal said the brand will continue to prioritise formulation quality, ingredient transparency, and clinical validation, while adhering to vegan and cruelty-free standards. SkinInspired is also backed by angel investors including Arjun Vaidya, Ruchi Kohli, Chinmaya Goyal, Ana Kapur, Jivraj Singh Sachar, and Swapnil Sheth.
