Travel Boutique Online (TBO) has announced its quarterly results. The Gurugram-based company recorded a 29.1% year-on-year increase in its revenue while its profits remained flat during the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year Q3 FY25. TBO’s operating revenue increased by 29.1% to Rs 422 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 327 crore in Q3 FY24, its unaudited consolidated financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. Income from booking of hotels and packages accounted for 79.8% of TBO’s revenue, which increased 44% year-on-year to Rs 337 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 233 crore in Q3FY24. Meanwhile, income from air ticketing and other allied services brought Rs 74 crore and Rs 11 crore to the firm’s topline. Since hotels and packages were the largest revenue source, the service fees associated with them became the biggest cost center, accounting for 32.7% of the total expenditure, which amounted to Rs 126 crore in Q3 FY25. Its employee benefits stood at Rs 100 crore in the third quarter. Overall, the total cost was up by 36.5% to Rs 385 crore in Q3FY25 from Rs 282 crore in Q3FY24. The total cost surge outpaced the revenue, leading TBO Tek to post a marginal decrease in its profits to Rs 49.9 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 50.7 crore in Q3 FY24. On a sequential basis, its quarter-on-quarter scale slowed down by 6% while its bottom line decreased by 16.8% from Rs 60 crore in Q2FY25. TBO Tek saw around a 1% increase in its stock, which stood at Rs 1,638 (as of 04.17 PM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 17,786 crore or ($2.1 billion).

However, for the full fiscal year, it posted a 15% YoY increase in PAT to Rs 230 crore in the previous fiscal (FY25). At the end of today’s (Thursday, May 22) trading session, TBO Tek saw around a 3% decrease in its stock, which stood at Rs 1,197 with a total market capitalization of Rs 13,005 crore or ($1.53 billion).

On a sequential basis, the company is expected to end the previous fiscal year (FY25) with a revenue of Rs 1755.8 crore and a profit of Rs 214.5 crore. TBO Tek ended the day at Rs 1,065.5 on April 8, with a market capitalization of Rs 11,570 crore (approximately $1.36 billion). The decent scale and controlled expenditure helped FirstCry to reduce its losses by 70% to Rs 15 crore in the last quarter. Notably, the company reported a positive EBITDA of Rs 152 crore. The strong growth and controlled spending enabled CarTrade to achieve a turnaround and post a net profit of Rs 45.5 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 23.5 crore in Q3 FY24. However, the company had already recorded a revenue of Rs 472 crore and a net profit of Rs 99 crore during the nine months of the ongoing fiscal year. For PB Fintech, employee benefits cost remained the largest cost center forming 37% of the overall expenditure. This cost increased by 22.4% YoY to Rs 487 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 398 crore in Q3 FY24. This includes Rs 51 crore as ESOP expense (non-cash). The company’s spending on advertising and promotional grew 34% to Rs 289 crore. Its network, internet, legal, rent, and other overheads pushed its total expenditure to Rs 1,307 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 926 crore in Q3 FY24. The significant year-on-year growth helped PB Fintech to post a 94.6% surge in profits to Rs 72 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 37 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year. On a unit level, the Gurugram-based firm spent Rs 1.01 to earn a rupee in Q3 FY25. PB Fintech ended the day on January 30 with a share price of Rs 1,659.7 and a total market capitalization of Rs 76,225 crore (approximately $9 billion).

Collections from its Hyperpure supplies (B2B business) increased 13.4% to Rs 1,671 crore during the same period while the quick commerce vertical (Blinkit) contributed Rs 1,399 crore to the group’s coffers. The remaining income came from the ‘Going-out’ segment and other operating activities during the quarter ending December 2024. Blinkit’s revenue ramped up over 117% YoY from Rs 644 crore generated in Q3 FY24. Zomato also earned Rs 252 crore as non-operating income (mainly from interest and gains on financial assets) in Q3 FY25. As a result, its overall revenue reached Rs 5,657 crore during the period. Coming to expenses, delivery and related charges accounted for 26% in Q3 which registered at Rs 1,450 crore. The purchase of stock (after adjustment of changes in inventories) inclined to Rs 1,500 crore, while employee benefits cost was at Rs 689 crore during the quarter. Zomato also spent Rs 521 crore on and promotions, akin to which its total expenditure rose 63.6% YoY to Rs 5,533 crore in Q3 of FY25. Zomato’s profits slipped 57.2% YoY to Rs 59 crore in Q3. In the previous quarter (Q2 FY25), it booked Rs 176 crore in profits. On a unit level, the company spent Rs 1.02 to earn a rupee in Q3 of FY25. For the nine-month ended period (Apr-Dec 2025), Zomato recorded Rs 14,410 crore revenue from operations with a profit of Rs 488 crore. In December 2024, Zomato achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian startup to join the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex 30, replacing JSW Steel Limited. In the race for instant food delivery, a few days back, Zomato re-introduced a 15-minute food delivery service in select cities. The company also received a GST demand notice amounting to Rs 803 crore from the Thane Commissionerate in Maharashtra, related to the non-payment of GST on delivery charges, including interest and penalties. In the first week of January, Zomato was trading above Rs 250 when its foreign brokerage Jefferies downgraded Zomato from “buy” to “hold” rating, citing competition in the quick commerce space. Following the rating, its price tumbled down under Rs 230, however, on the back of strong YoY growth, the company is regaining momentum as its price is at Rs 239.9 with a market cap of Rs 2,10,336 crore or $24.3 Bn. In December 2024, Zomato achieved its all-time high price at Rs 304.5 a share.
