Smart India Hackathon 2024: PM Modi says young innovators give him chance to learn, urges them to shape India’s future | Mint

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the grand finale of the 7th Smart India Hackathon via videoconferencing. Over 1,300 student teams from diverse sectors participated in the hackathon, aimed at solving real-world problems proposed by ministries, industries, and government departments. Modi expressed his high expectations from the young innovators, highlighting the successful implementation of solutions from previous hackathons. He emphasized the need to work on new sectors of the economy to make India an economic superpower. The Smart India Hackathon, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, has seen record-breaking participation this year.
