Private equity platform Xponentia raises Rs 1,000 crore in new fund

Private equity platform Xponentia has successfully raised Rs 1,000 crore (approximately $133 million) for its second fund, surpassing its initial target of Rs 750 crore. The fund primarily attracted domestic investors, including High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), family offices, insurance companies, and the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Xponentia plans to invest the funds across various sectors, including consumer, healthcare, financial services, and business services. The platform had previously announced the first close of the second fund in July 2022 and has already made several investments from it.
