Decentro raises Rs 30 Cr in Series B, to shift domicile to India Y-Combinator-backed fintech startup Decentro has raised Rs 30 crore in its Series B funding round led by InfoEdge Ventures, with participation from Stargazer Growth and existing investors such as Uncorrelated Ventures. Entrackr has exclusively reported the Series B round recently. The proceeds will be used to grow enterprise adoption, expand product capabilities, and strengthen go-to-market efforts across financial institutions. Co-founded by Rohit Taneja and Pratik Daudkhane, Decentro’s offerings cover consumer and business verification, payment infrastructure for collections and disbursals, and AI-driven debt recovery systems. The API banking platform, which processes over Rs 50,000 crore in annual payment volumes, plans to shift its parent entity from Singapore to India within the next 12 to 18 months. The company claims to be profitable and serves more than 1,300 businesses including NBFCs, digital lenders, banks, and fintech firms. Recently, it launched Scanner, a real-time risk assessment engine, and Neobot, a multilingual AI voice agent focused on debt collections. As per TheKredible, Decentro reported a 47% year-on-year increase in operating revenue to Rs 17.7 crore in FY24 from Rs 12 crore in FY23. However, the company slipped into a loss of Rs 2.46 crore during the same period, after posting a profit in the previous fiscal.

The fresh capital will be used for growth, marketing and to support the company’s recent acquisition of Kunal Shah backed Teleport, which expands its operations in South India. Unicorn India Ventures had earlier invested Rs 6.6 crore in StampMyVisa during its seed round last year. The company aims to use this bridge round to achieve key milestones before raising a larger Series A round in the next financial year. StampMyVisa said it has achieved 4 times growth in revenue while maintaining a 99.5% visa success rate, processing more than 75,000 visas in the past six months. Its proprietary AI engine Nucleus automates and validates visa documentation for over 80 countries. The company recently introduced new products including SMV Insure, which refunds the booking value if a visa is rejected, and SMV Global, an eSIM service offering international connectivity at lower cost than regular roaming. It plans to expand into GCC markets and build fintech infrastructure with embedded credit and payment solutions for small and medium businesses. The platform targets to process 80% of visa applications within five minutes, compared to the current industry average of two days. In August 2025, StampMyVisa acquired travel tech startup Teleport, a consumer facing player backed by founders including Kunal Shah, Vidit Aatrey and Phanindra Sama. It competes with Atlys, Visa2Fly and StampThePassport.

Cleantech startup Bambrew has raised Rs 60 crore (approximately $7 million) in a mix of debt and equity series A round led by Blume Ventures. This marks the first investment for the Bengaluru-based company in 2024. Blue Ashva Capital, Mumbai Angels, Indus Capital, and angel investors including Sreevathsa Prabhakar, Mandeep Manocha, and RK Narayan also participated in the round. The funds will go towards broadening the company’s reach into primary packaging for consumer goods, food, and beverages, enhancing manufacturing capabilities, investing in research and development, and bolstering the team, Bambrew said in a statement. Founded in 2019, Bambrew is a green packaging startup that offers eco-friendly products made from bamboo, sugarcane, and seaweed. Its handmade and reusable products serve as natural alternatives to plastic. Their offerings cater to a range of sectors such as fashion, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, retail, and logistics. Bambrew asserts that they have successfully prevented over 20,000 kilograms of plastic waste to date and have received over 20,000 orders. Banbrew has raised around Rs 80 crore so far including its seed round of Rs 18 crore led by Blue Ashva Capital in 2021. Before the latest Series A injection, Blue Ashva was the largest external stakeholder in the company with 13.11 % followed by Suvita Investments. Head to TheKredible for the complete shareholding. Its revenue from operations surged 4.7X to Rs 44.23 crore in FY23 while the losses stood at Rs 18 crore during the same period.
