Over 90% of top Indian companies advocate work from office, more than global average: survey

India is a strong advocate for office-based work, with 90% of organizations requiring employees to work from the office for at least three days a week. This is higher than the global average of 85%. The trend is expected to continue, with 54% of Indian organizations anticipating an increase in office days by 2030. Businesses in India are also investing heavily in AI, with 95% of decision-makers planning to accelerate AI investments over the next five years. Additionally, there is a growing emphasis on sustainability, with 77% of organizations planning to increase spending on sustainability initiatives. However, challenges such as long-term planning and limited integration with other business units persist.
